Association of Indian University (AIU) has been organising the South Asian University Youth Festival (SAUFEST) since 2006, & this year .i.e., 12th SAUFEST-2019 , was organised by Pt. RavishankarShukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India from Feb 22nd to Feb 26th, 2019. South Asian countries like India, Maldives, Nepal, Mauritius , Sri Lanka, Bhutan , Bangladesh , Afganistan , Pakistan & Myanmar were invited and had participated in the same. For the first time in the History of Mangalore University, that the University has got an opportunity to participate in SAUFEST. It was a great honour for GOVINDA DASA COLLEGE FINE ARTS FOLK DANCE TEAM (Pooja Kunitha) i.e., the team being the 1st Winners of National Youth Festival- 2018, held at Ranchi, Jarkhand , to be the pioneers to represent India in such an International Event from Mangalore University.
